This plate sits on top of the block plug on all Volvo Redblocks with a head mounted distributor or a wasted spark conversion. It prevents the plug from blowing out due to excessive crankcase pressures specially with high boost applications.
No gasket required.
These plates are 3D printed using Carbon Fiber Reinforced ASA (ASA-CF), offering superior UV resistance, exceptional thermal stability, and a high strength-to-weight ratio compared to standard polymers.
